Made of forged brass, Baldwin's hardware is solid throughout, making it heavier, stronger, and smoother than hardware that is made of aluminum or plated steel. Easy to install, it fits all standard doors measuring 1-3/4 inches thick (a conversion kit is available for 2-1/4-inch thick doors). The adjustable latch fits 2-3⁄8-inch or 2-3⁄4-inch backsets.
