Product Description ------------------- The Glenlivet Nadurra is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry oak casks from the Spanish region of Jerez. The Nàdurra range uses traditional 19th-century production methods to create inventive and original whiskies. The sherry-soaked wood introduces the rich, sultry flavours of dried fruit and warm spice. Nàdurra Oloroso, like all expressions in the range, is bottled and released in small batches, and, unlike most modern whiskies, is non-chill filtered so has all the body you would expect from a whisky that has been drawn straight from the cask. It’s a bright, vivacious gold liquid, with aromas of dried fruit and spice. To drink, it’s smooth and creamy with chocolate and marmalade. This is a divine example of what happens when you bring together Spanish passion and Speyside tradition. This whisky is all about using traditions to achieve modern brilliance. Founded by George Smith, The Glenlivet has been crafted in the remote Livet Valley in the heart of Scotland's Speyside region since 1824. He founded the first legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet. At the start of the 20th century, The Glenlivet became the favourite whisky for enthusiasts throughout the British Empire. Following the end of Prohibition in the United States, its reputation grew in America, quickly becoming renowned worldwide as the original Speyside single malt, a position it continues to enjoy today.
